2014 Submissions

2014 submissions are now open!

If you would like to submit, please follow the guidelines below. Remember, any student at DP is welcome to submit to the magazine—even if you aren’t taking an art class.

Guidelines:
By email —

• Your full name.
• Photographs of artwork. Please take as high-quality of photos as possible, so that we won’t have to rephotograph them.
• Full text of any literature submissions. Literature submissions should be no more than 500 words; however, excerpts from longer works are welcome. If you use a Google Drive account, simply share the document with dplocalcolor [at] gmail [dot] com. Otherwise, copy & paste text into email. Please do not attach word processing files.
• Titles for all art & literature.
• Media used for all artwork. E.g., photography, acrylic, pen & ink, etc.

Alternatively —
Submit artworks to Room T-5. Please ask and fill out a submission form, or print and fill out beforehand.

Deadline Extended

Hey everyone, 

Just to clarify, the deadline has been extended to February 22, 2013. We are receiving great submissions, but please continue submitting. And make sure to encourage your friends to send us their work as well! Again, the guidelines are right here; just click on the “Submission Guidelines” tab above.

Each student may submit no more than 5 works total. This includes all artwork & literature.

Please email all submissions to dplocalcolor@gmail.com with the following:
